MIT Legal Existence

You cannot obtain a Certificate of Good Standing for MIT because its charter was established by statute; it’s not required to make annual filings (which is the basis for determining if a legal entity is in good standing in MA). Instead, you can obtain a Certificate of Legal Existence only, by requesting from the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  A current version can be found here.
