MIT Joins Amicus Curiae Brief in Harvard v. U.S. Dept of Homeland Security case

MIT joined 47 other colleges and universities to submit an amicus brief in Presidents and Fellows of Harvard College v. U.S. Dep’t of Homeland Security, et al., a case challenging the cancellation of Harvard’s student visa program. The brief emphasizes the critical role of the student visa program in enhancing the United States’ economy, public health, and ability to compete internationally.  The brief highlights the tremendous contributions of foreign-born talent, who have gone on to cure diseases, invent transformational technologies, and found companies that have fueled American economic growth.
